Installation Instructions:

The Access Ready cover is the safest and most easily installed cover for the light pole access doors available on the market today. The revolutionary design of the handle allows it to accommodate most light pole access door configurations. Installation takes only 8 seconds.

The Key contains the following four pieces:
  • A Handle.
  • A Shield.
  • A Retainer.
  • A Key (one per box).
Installation requires no tools and once installed it can be easily be removed or adjusted with custom key.

Installation Steps:
  1. Push wiring bundles back into access opening (the V within the handle can be used as an insulated tool to safely move the wiring back into place).
  2. Insert the handle into the access hole (vertically) and rotate it to a horizontal position until it is secure within the opening.
  3. Verify that the small fingers on handle grip the inside of the access hole.
  4. Simply press the nylon bolt into the cover.
  5. Place the cover over the access hole.
  6. Insert the end of the bolt into the small hole in the middle of the handle.
  7. With your thumb on the bolt head push the cover assembly securely into place (the bolt will ratchet into place).
  8. If desired the cover can be tightened by screwing the bolt with custom key.
  9. Do not over tighten.
To remove the cover, simply unscrew the bolt. The custom key has a Hex fitting for mounting on a screw gun or cordless screwdriver to assist in removal.

Warning -Do not use metal hardware for installation, electrocution may occur.
Use only NON-METALLIC hardware with the "Access Ready".
